Progressivism through Multi-Media
You and your group mates {groups of Three for Periods 1 and 2(one group of Four), and groups of two (14) and one group of three (1) for Periods 5 and 6} will create an entertaining, humorous, yet educational power point type platform that teaches one of the following Progressive concepts from the Progressive Era. Using google.docshttp://bit.ly/y8Bozd, prezi, http://prezi.com/, popplet, http://popplet.com/, storifyhttp://storify.com/, glogster http://www.glogster.com/, Voice Thread [[http://voicethread.com/ ]] or another FREE multimedia site, where your group will be able to collaborate, peer edit, and leave comments without face-to-face meetings. Along with the power point/visual portion, you will need to add audio to add commentary and/or additional audio components, be it voice over, as with VoiceThread, or embed video clips, which most of the sites listed do.

To sign up for your group, you will need to access the wikispaces site for this project – KCPalmerProgressivesProject 2012 http://kcpalmerprogressivesproject2012.wikispaces.com/
There, you will need to sign up you and your group mates next to the topic listed. Once a topic has been taken, it is taken, so move on to another topic.
When your group is finished, place it in the Drop box so that I can review it remotely and give verify and/or make suggestions for improvement. If you for some reason cannot access Dropbox, then email me it through the district email.

Below are the topics from which your group must choose. It is only ONE GROUP per topic and ALL topics will be selected.

Read and Review These!!!

Your packet on this unit – Immigration/Urbanization/Progressivism has several notes already embedded that will help give you direction. Additionally, my power point is located at my website http://bit.ly/yWXIKq. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me kpalmer@d211.org .
